We would like to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas that can contribute to a more holistic comprehension of the role emotions play in the Global South. We invite researchers, both junior and senior, to participate in and contribute to our seminar. The call is open to scholars within the humanities and social sciences, who use qualitative methods in their research. The seminar will be held online, and there is no participation fee.

The aim of the seminar – ‘ON MATTERS OF LOVE’ – was to bring together recent developments in the research on romantic love. In other words, the seminar served as a platform for PhD students and early-career researchers to share and discuss their findings in a friendly environment of like-minded colleagues. The feedback helped participants to guide their further research.

Zapraszamy do udziału w IUAES-WAU WORLD ANTHROPOLOGY CONGRESS 2023, zatytułowanego: "Marginalities, Uncertainties, and World Anthropologies: Enlivening Past and Envisioning Future". Odbędzie się on Delhi, od 14 do 20 października 2023. Dr Anna Romanowicz będzie wygłosi referat zatytułowany " i będzie współprzewodniczyła panelowi "Anthropology of Emotions in South Asia".

Serdecznie zapraszamy do udziału w konferencji organizowanej przez International Institute of Love Studies. Członkinią Międzynarodowego Naukowego Komitetu Doradczego jest dr Anna Romanowicz.
Tematem konferencji są najnowsze badania o miłości, rozumianej jako relacja oraz jako uniwersalne pojęcie, jednak z uwzględnieniem wariacji historycznych, społecznych, kulturowych i indywidualnych. Spotkanie jest otwarte dla naukowców ze wszystkich dziedzin, stosujących w swoich badaniach różne metodologie.
Konferencja odbędzie się w Hiszpanii, w Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, w dniach od 2 do 7 stycznia 2024 roku. Więcej informacji znajduje się tutaj.
